Full workshops can no longer be chosen
How it works
Using the example of a training day with three workshops.

Create the sign-up
Title, description with date and programme, location. One option per workshop, for example “A · Photography with your phone, 09:00–12:00”.

Limit the seats
Enter “Max. seats” for each option. People signing up see “3 seats left” or “full”. If a workshop is full, they join the waiting list and move up automatically as soon as someone cancels. If two workshops run at the same time, say in the description that people should choose only one of them – Wannja allows several options.

Questions for participants
For each workshop, use “Question for participants” to add, for example, a choice “Prior knowledge” (none, some, a lot) or a remark for materials and allergies.

List and evaluation
On the results page you see the bookings and answers for each workshop. You print the list of participants for the course leaders or download it as an Excel or CSV file.
What you end up with
- Bookings per course: for example “11 / 12”, full courses blocked.
- List of participants: with names, chosen courses, answers and notes.
- Confirmation by email: anyone who gives an address receives the location, their choice and the link to make changes.
- In the calendar: publish the course day in the Wannja calendar, with a button to sign up.

Can I stop someone signing up for two courses at the same time?
Not automatically: in a sign-up, several options can be ticked. Say in the description that only one workshop per time slot counts. You’ll see double sign-ups in the list and can remove them if needed.
What happens when a course is full?
The option shows “full” and can no longer be chosen. If two people sign up for the last seat at the same time, the first one gets it; the second sees a notice and chooses again.
Can I count by number of people instead of sign-ups?
Yes. With “Participants state how many people are coming”, “Max. people” counts the number of people stated, for example for parent-and-child courses.
Is there a waiting list?
There is no built-in waiting list. You can add an extra option “Waiting list” without a seat limit.
Does course sign-up cost anything?
No, options, seats, questions, print, Excel and CSV are free. With Pro (CHF 7 per month) you also get a sign-up closing date, invitations and reminders. Wannja does not handle payments for course fees.
