How it works

Using the example “Board meeting in January”: three date options, each at 19:30.

  1. Suggest dates

Enter a title and create date options with date and time: Tue 12, Thu 14 and Mon 18 January. The field “Location or video link” takes the meeting room or the Teams or Zoom link. To save, you need a free account.

  2. Share the link

Send the link by email, WhatsApp or chat to the board, committee or team. Voting works without an account; a name is enough.

  3. Compare the answers

Everyone answers Yes, Maybe or No for each date. The results highlight the best match; if there is a tie, you see all equally good dates and decide yourself.

  4. Confirm the date

Choose the final date. Everyone who gave an email address receives the message “Date confirmed” with a calendar invitation (.ics).

Frequently asked questions

How do I find a meeting date that suits everyone?

Create a scheduling poll with several date options and share the link. Everyone answers Yes, Maybe or No for each date. Wannja highlights the date with the best match.

Do the people attending need an account?

No. A name is all it takes to vote. The email address is optional; those who give one receive a link to change their vote later. Only the person creating the poll needs a free account.

Who receives the calendar invitation?

Everyone who gave an email address, as soon as you confirm the date. Those who did not give one receive no email; you can download the date as a calendar file (.ics) and pass it on yourself.

Can I switch off the answer “Maybe”?

Yes. When creating the poll you decide whether Maybe is available as well as Yes and No.

Can I set a response deadline and send automatic reminders?

Response deadline, personal invitations by email and automatic reminders are part of Wannja Pro (CHF 7 per month or CHF 70 per year). The automatic reminder goes out 5 days before the response deadline to invited people who have not answered yet.

What happens if I add a date later?

New or changed dates are marked “new” for everyone, and anyone who has already voted sees a notice asking them to complete their answer. On the results page you see who is affected and send everyone with an email address their personal link with “Notify those affected”. This is free.
